Payment Terms – Smart Session Tutoring

By enrolling with Smart Session Tutoring, you agree to the following payment terms:

1. Monthly Subscription (Recommended Option)
Our monthly fee covers 4 tutoring sessions per month, per subject. This subscription is designed to provide consistent learning while offering excellent value.

The monthly fee remains fixed, even in months where there may be 5 occurrences of a particular weekday (e.g. 5 Mondays). In these cases, you will receive an extra session at no additional cost.
Over the course of the year, this means families often receive more than 48 sessions annually, making the monthly plan more cost-effective than paying per session.
For example, paying £10 per session individually would total more over time, whereas our £10 per month per subject subscription provides additional sessions in longer months at no extra charge.

2. Holiday Breaks
The monthly fee reflects our annual teaching schedule, which includes:

2 weeks off during August
1 week off during the Christmas period

These breaks are already factored into the pricing structure, meaning your monthly payments remain consistent throughout the year.

We will let you know if there are any changes to scheduled sessions. We like to continue during most of the school holidays to avoid any break in learning for your child.

3. Pay-As-You-Go Option
Parents may choose to pay per lesson instead of subscribing. However:

The per-session rate is £10 per session
Unlike the monthly plan, there are no additional free sessions in longer months
This option is typically less cost-effective over time compared to the monthly subscription

4. Missed Sessions
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled session:

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed sessions
This applies regardless of the reason for absence

5. Payment Commitment
Monthly payments secure your child’s allocated time slot and ensure continuity in their learning. We recommend the monthly option for both consistency and value.
